Background - Tora's past was kind of complicated, she had lived in a large home in a forest far away from humans and other uknown creatures, they had chosen that place for safety of which Tora doesn't know about and was never told. Though during a quiet slow day, after her parents had got done fighting and cursing each other, they finally somewhat calmed during dinner. Wanting to avoid and get away from the tension and glares she was feeling coming from them she excused herself early from dinner to take a walk outside. She toyed with her dads lighter she picked up from her fathers desk on the way out, lighting and relighting it over and over again out of sheer boredom. Fire had always intrigued Tora to the point where she would try stupid things with it, like when she was 6 she figured that if you breath in fire, you can breath it back out. Well of course that didn't work and she suffered a bad cough and weezed for about an hour, also recieving a long boring lecture from her father...Anyway, as she roamed outside
circling the house for something new which wasn't likely, Tora's mind started to space out not taking any notice of anything around her, after a few minutes of this she heard a loud scream from the house that sounded like her mother. Startled she dropped the just lit lighter in her mothers favorite bush full of crimson roses. Tora had stared in horror at what she had done to her mothers plant, though didn't know what to do, see why her mother had screamed, or put out the fire. She shook her head and frowned at her stupidity, plants can come back, parents can't. She shrieked as the fire quickly caught on to the other plants and trailed up the house through vines and dashed into the house yelling for her mom, she heard her scream again coming from the dining room where they had been eating previously. Pushing open the door her eyes had grown wide seeing her mother pressed against the wall by her father who looked like he was biting into her neck...Tora had always tried to convince herself that Vampires didn't exist, but after seeing what her father had done, she couldn't help but believe them now. Her father dropped her mother growling quietly to himself at her pitiful corpse that slid to the ground, blood covered her whole right side of her neck and shoulder and some had smeared onto the wall as she slid down it. She gasped as she stared at her mother lying on the ground, and then at her father who had just taken notice of her presence. A little smirk had played at his lips noting her fear, before she could run out of the room he was already on top of her. He whispered words that she didn't undersand though hardly heard because his voice was so soft it was almost inaudible. His quiet voice had threatened to sooth her and was making her muscles that struggled against him relax, her eyelids started to shut though fighting to stay opened and her conciousness was slipping away as well, before it was gone she felt the worst pain she had ever endured in her neck though it only lasted for a second, her heart had served its last beat...
Present: Tora is now used to being a Vampire and knows she is one, she had met others like her and now finds herself almost not being able to bare the sight or the voice of a human. She can now contain her anger and remain calm in almost inbarable situations. She still lives in the forest and visits her burned down home every once in a while, she had never shown anyone the clutter or even spoke of her family. If someone asked about where she came from or who her family was she would just smile and say she didn't know. As for the 'light' issue, she doesn't mind having to live in the dark all the time, but she pushes herself and tests herself spending a few minutes in the sun about a day or two a week hoping that one day her body will become accustomed to it, though the pain from the light had never ceased and never decreased, it always felt the same. She had never not suffered a night without burns or some that were still healing. As for her social life, she doesn't have much of one and only speaks when necessary, she always had though; even when she was younger. Whenever someone would pass through the forest she would watch them until they left to ensure they didn't cause trouble, but was often found; she never actually tried to stay hidden she just liked to watch them having not many visitors a year. She probably got..2 a month and only spoke for a few minutes with each. She now lives a simple and relaxed life, her only goal is just to find new places in her forest that reached for miles on end, in truth she had only been through 2/3's of it and with every week she had always found something new, even if it was tiny, she always enjoyed her finding.
