This is a poem I came up with a few days ago to get out all my feelings for my ex, it's under my real name already so I'll know and be able to prove if you steal it. However if you want to use it pm me, I'm not mean about it.

Lover's Poison

You swore you'd never hurt me,
or say those things again
Yet then you turn right over,
my heart could never mend.
Broken promises by day,
and wrenching guilt by night.
It seemed the war was over,
yet I couldn't end my fight.
You always claimed to love me,
yet never let me free.
A bird within a cage,
seemed my dark destiny.
Now I stand here taller,
with strength I never knew.
And dry my eyes and
wipe those tears I'd wasted over you.
I choose a different story,
for my fairytale this is not.
I wish nothing for you,
now nothings what you've got.
