- So, I'm liking Smoothie King. Not just for the free smoothies (or for the fact I can now make some tasty treats at home by stealing borrowing their recipes), but for the environment of the place. Nicer people. Better hours. And in a about a week and a half or so, better pay.
Only thing is...it's a lot of work. I know, making smoothies, how hard could it be, right? Well, there really is a lot more to it than slogging some things in a blender and pressing a button. And I'm constantly busy. I'm either preparing a smoothie, cleaning out the blenders, refilling the ice cubby, restocking the fruits/nutrition powders, or any one of a number of things that needs doing. On my feet. And my legs just aaaache. D:

I worked there last night. Sure, I get to lounge a little more, but the people I have to deal with are just so horrible. No, I really don't care that you're 25 and have been playing GTA since you were a kid, I still need to see ID if you look under 30. Otherwise, I get fired. And while working at GameStop isn't that fabulous, and I don't really care if I continue to work there or not, if I get fired, it's going to be for something worthy, not your lazy, cop-an-attitude-with-me b***h a**.
It's all good, though. They've continually screwed me down to about two days a week there, so that's just more time I can work at Smoothie King. I may be exhausted when I leave, but dammit...I'm happier.
Ky's enjoying school. <3 I love hearing her telling me about her day, and all the fun things she gets to do. And I like having a bit of time to myself (like right now...I just got done reading a few chapters in my book and laying down and now I'm typing away online without a worry). I do miss her when she's gone, though. But it's not like I'm not spending any time with her now. We still get quality time, and now she gets the child interaction she's been lacking. It works. <3
Still, with me being so busy these days, I'm afraid I haven't had much time for anything else. I need to go to the mall and get a new belt for my pants. And I've been needing a haircut...a trim, really...but all the same. And hopefully, sometime soon...I'll be getting a new tattoo. I have it planned out. I have a couple planned out, actually, but which one I get depends on how much money I've got when I go. xd
