When I was down you came to me

And promised to always be by my side

Now you've gone

And I'm waiting paitently

Just for you to fufill your promise

Made especially for me

So we can exchange smiles

And heartfilled hugs

Perhaps a loving kiss

But that's only in my dreams

For now

I shall wait

And never give my heart to another

Untill you have returned it to me

That though is something

I would never dream of

Only fear

So don't leave my heart

Or return it to me

I want you to keep it

Untill you think it has served it's purpose

Then I will leave

Perhaps shead a tear

But you'll always leave a mark on my heart

Not only where you bruised it

But also where you first touched it
