Hello everyone! I'm sorry, I meant to write a journal earlier, but I've been busy. Well, where to start......

Ok! I don't think I talked about Welcome Week events, so I'll give a very brief discourse on that. Now, like I said before, I'm a CM or community mentor, and I got to move in early. Well, Welcome Week started last Wednesday with Move-in Day. I think the name describes itself well. Well, my job was to walk around and take photos of everyone moving in. They were presented in the slideshow later on that evening. It was really fun (although it was really hot outside!) and I got to meet lots of people. On Thursday there was the Academic Orientation, which was nice, and later on Culture Fest. That was soooo much fun. There was so many different styles and types of food, and the entertainment was amazing. The next day we had Traditions and Spirit, which is where you learn the football cheers and your dorm cheer. That was fun, but I already knew the Foster Quad cheer, because I helped create it! 3nodding

So, then classes started Monday. Agh! My Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays suck! I have five classes each day. But it could be worse, I suppose. At least I have a two hour break after my first two classes. And our courses are only fifty minutes long too, with a ten minute period to get to your next class, if you have one class directly after another.
But really, I have a good schedule. While my M, W, and F are full, I've only got two on Tuesday, and one on Thursday. And I've got about seven hours between my two courses on Tuesday. So it's really nice. But I still can't wait for the weekend.

I absolutely adore my Chinese class, even if it is really hard! But I'm having loads of fun already! I'm not too crazy about my French class, but I'm so excited about my Great Wall of China course! It seems like it's going to be great! Even my English class is going to be fun! Whee!!!!!!!

I'm also making lots of friends too. I love being a CM because it gives me the opportunity to meet lots of people. I love my roommate Abby, she's the greatest ever. And I've got plenty of friends - some of them are anime freaks like me!!!!!!
