Ramblings, writings, and poignant pieces on the differences between Sprite and 7up
When I was young, I knew everything.
No one ever tells you how hard it is to grow up. And no thinks of telling a 2 year old that they'll have to grow up.

I wish someone had told me.

Or maybe I don't. If I'd known then, even if I couldn't comprehend it then...but if I'd known...life would have held even less joy for me than it did back then.

If I'd known what was in store for me...

Would I have done things differently?

Yes and no.

You never know what something will change. Not really. You can hypothesize all you want, but you're never going to know for certain. Remember the time that you broke your friend's N64 and they didn't talk to you for a week, and you wished you could change it? Well, what if instead, you didn't break it, and then when they went to go play it, there was a power surge, and it electrocuted and killed them?

See where I'm going with this?

If you answered "yes", could you please fill me in, 'cause I have no idea. :B

Guess I'm just thinking a lot...what else is new...mainly about a certain friend of mine who's been inexplicably in my head more than ever lately. Well, I use the term "friend" with blurred boundaries, as we haven't spoken in several years. But the bond is still there. We are still tied, as spiritual sisters, and I still think of her often.

Some people come and go in your life, and you hardly think of them again. And others...others come into your life with such force, they leave a permanent imprint. Those people are always with you in some form, no matter how long you knew them, or how long they've been gone.

She was one of those people, and every so often, that imprint she left aches.

She will never read this, but wherever she is, I hope she feels these words.

Come back.
