Yippy skippy! It's my final year of school!
I moved back to Ball State yesterday, and I am siked! I start my new job today at 5:00, and Caitlin will be moving into our room any time. I'm telling you - it is roomy! Big closet, tons of space, did I not mention I actually have a sink? Yes, my room comes with a sink for the very first time! The perks of living in Elliott Hall aka "Hogwarts."
Speaking of Hogwarts, Elliott's theme for welcome week is the British Invaision, but no pictures of Harry Potter & co. anywhere! We got Mary Poppins, James Bond, and Borat, but no Harry! You would think after two Potter releases - Order of the Phoenix (movie) and Deathly Hallows (book) - the opening committee would go crazy decorating our castle in house colors! I was hoping to have the Slytherin crest on my door with a picture of our beloved Potions Master next to my name. Alas, I get Julie Andrews with d**k Van Dyke instead. And Caitlin got Borat. He he.
Anyway, I hope my senior year ends on a high note. smile
