"Hm?"Inuyasha wondered aloud, "Where'd she go?!" He sniffed the air to see if she was nearby. Once he picked up her scent, wqhich was about a mile off, he grabbed his tetsusiuga(sp?)and dashed off in that direction. 'Stupid girl!' he thought, 'what does she think she's think she'sdoing running off this late at night?! And ALONE?! She could get kidnapped by a demon! Or worse!' As he worried about what might be happening to Kagome, he failed to notice a familiar scent very close to Kagome's...

~ About 10 mins. earlier ~

Kagome sighed as she sat up in her sleeping bag, not able to sleep. She looked around- everyone else was asleep. She sighed again, getting up. 'Well,' she thought,' might as well go for a walk or something to think...' She hadn't been able to sleep because she was so worried about her future...she didn't want to leave her friends behind...and especially not him. Whenever she got far enough away that she could still see the flames, of the fire, but she wasn't close enough to disturb them if she talked quietly, she stopped.
