	Thyna's Wanderings If you know what a kender is, you will understand. If not, this is going to be a collection of random stuff depending on how I feel, the events of the day, web sites, personal interests, trinkets, collectables and stuff from my pockets :)

Bill's Nan passed away on Thursday. It's something that the family has known would happen, but it still hit them pretty hard. Nan has always been a fighter. When she was first diagnosed with Cancer and they removed a good portion of her lungs, they only gave her 2 years. But she kept going and held on for 13 years. But the cancer came back and filled her chest cavity. In the spring it became evident that things were not going well. Nan was getting weaker, required a Nurse to come in and assist with bathing, and was no longer permitted to leave the house. When I heard that, I knew it wouldn't be long. We found out that Bills Aunt couldn't care for Nan anymore as her care needs were becoming too great. She was no longer eating, only sleeping and had lost an awful lot of weight. So she was sent to the Hospital while they waited for a Paliative care bed. Aunt Sue did the best she could under the circumstances. I hope she knows that. So tomorrow my Bf and I will be attending the wake, and Monday is the funeral. I've got a few things to do around the house while Bill is at work.
