This deserves a separate entry. XD
Wrote it when I was bored. Part of a story. <3 Teiryou's POV.
Our lips touched. I felt myself leaning into the kiss. I had no idea why I was actually enjoying it. I was kissing Xieh. My clingy older brother. Sure he'd been gone for a month... and we'd assumed he was dead, but was his absence enough to... make me fall in love with him? Was it enough to make me realize that... you notice how precious something is once you lose it?
Xieh's tongue worked its way into my mouth. I allowed it to. I wanted it to. It might've been more enjoyable if I hadn't been crying before then. Xieh'd only asked to kiss me, so he didn't touch me anywhere. I really wanted him to... I... wanted Xieh. But I didn't want to tell him. I was confused... Sure it'd make Xieh happy, but how would everyone react...?
Xieh pulled me closer and yet I still did not push away. As I let out a small moan unintentionally, Xieh pulled away. I stepped back, pretending I regretted it. "Thank you, Teiryou..." Xieh whispered. He began to cry a little, and I didn't understand why.
"Xieh, what's wrong?" I asked.
"I can't stay with you. I don't belong."
"What are you talking about?"
"You don't see them..."
"See what?" Either I missed something, or Xieh was going insane. He made no sense.
Xieh took a deep breath before he began his story. "The night you yelled at me and said you hated me, I went out for a ride. At first, I wasn't really going anywhere. But when I saw a waterfall, I stopped there. I began to think about suicide. 'If I can't have you, I can't live.' That's all I was thinking." He stopped for a moment to wipe his tears away. "I stood there at the edge. I was ready to jump off, but then I realized how selfish I was. A lot of people still care about me."
"So what happened?"
"As I turned around... I fell. I'm dead, Teiryou."
"How can that be? You're standing right here."
"That may be, but right now, I should be with Javyl."
"No..." I shook my head in disbelief. "This isn't true. It can't be true! You're just trying to trick me!"
"I really wish it was just a joke, Teiryou. Tell Mom and Dad I said hello, okay?"
"Xieh, don't you dare-"
Xieh cut me off, placing a finger on my lips. Then, he pulled me in for a light kiss. I wanted it to last longer, but it was only a few seconds. As Xieh backed away toward the window, I began to cry. "Don't worry, Teiryou. I'll be okay." And with that, my brother was gone.
I couldn't say it. I didn't say those words. Those special words that Xieh always wanted to hear. "I love you, Xieh..."
