Fifth gym was a breeze, since my starter evolved it became immune to poison, and resistant to pretty much everything else the gym leader threw at it, so I just used surf and various other attacks to bring her pokemons down. So now I have the fifth badge. Yay me.
My Dex is coming together nicely as well, only 38 more entries to go and I can start transferring my pokemons from emerald. First wave will include Rayquaza and Mewtwo of course, probably the three regis as well. ^^
