They reached the edge of town to see it destroyed and burning. Lifeless bodies of the towns people were scattered everywhere. Among them were a few Deddo, their bodies pierced by swords and simple farm tools. "Looks like they went down fighting.... Damn...." Gale sighed and walked on. Ellie looked at Miko who had a worried look on her face. "Gale...." He scratched his head. "Yeah I know... the little girl and her mom..." Gale took off running towards the Smiths shop. "OLD MAN!!!!!" He stopped before the destroyed Black Smith shop. "Damnit!! Where are you Old Man!!" He heard noises coming from the rubble. "Shut the hell up kid... Im not dead... dont get all emotional on me..." Gale laughed and started moving pieces of the shop off of his legs. "What about that little girl I saved. Is she alive?!" Old man nodded. "Yeah... I was able to get her and her mom over here... I managed to fight off the Deddo with those swords you gave me.... Id be dead without em..." Gale smiled. "The best of the best.... I gotta find a forge and show you how to work that metal... Then you that little girl and her mom are coming with me and my sisters..." Old man smiled. "Help me up kid... Ill show you to them girls...." Ellie and Miko finally caught up to Gale. "Is she...?" Gale smiled. "Yeah... Old Man saved em... Comon.." They followed the Smith through the rubble. He stopped in the room that had once been the forge and dug through the rubble. He pulled on a almost invisible hatch which opened up a hole in the floor. They all followed him down. There the little girl was huddled into a corner. "Where is your mom....?" She started to cry. "One of them found a way in.... They took her!! Gale please save my mommy!!" She jumped up and ran towards him. He looked around as she hugged onto his leg still crying.
