Hostility ;; A Story By R a i n b o w Bang [based on my avi]
Hostility was bored to say the least, sitting in her room while she listened to her parents arguing (It was either that or they would be doing things Hostility liked to think she was too naive about). Her dysfunctional family never paid any mind to what she did, and she had learned-- that she could use that to her will.
Sighing she pulled on some clean clothes and tip-toed down the stairs, before peeking into the living room to see her mom eating her fathers face clean off. Shivering at the sight she whirled around and one foot and stepped over the squeaky floorboard. ( Hostility had learnt which floorboards creaked and which didn’t so that she wouldn’t be caught sneaking out…again.)
Glaring into the living room she opened the door soundlessly and quickly shut the door with a soft ‘click’. Turning around she looked up to the sky with half-smile. “I wish I was like you.” She whispered, walking onto the gravel of her front yard. When she reached the gate she looked back once more to make sure they was watching her and took off at a fast jog towards the local park.
She stealthily avoided any objects in her way-the occasional dog s**t. Reaching her destination she watched with horror as another figure was sat on the swings, slowly rocking forwards and backwards. Stopping, she squinted against the moonlights light and bit her lip. It was a boy! She could tell! Growling in frustration she stormed into the park, glowering at the boy who dared to be in the one place that gave her peace!
“Go away.” A soft silky voice hissed, making her eyes snap to his face. The moon shone behind him making him glow slightly, and in the shallow light I could see he had pale but healthy skin, with dark blue eyes, and inky black hair that seemed to fall into his eyes. “Now. Go.” He stood up, one hand curled around the chain of the swing.
Balling her fists up, Hostility walked up to the boy stiffly, and raised a shaking fist. “How dare you tell me what to do!” The boy only raised an eyebrow at her behaviour. He raised a simple arm, and pushed her away from himself. “I don’t want to bother with your presence today. Go now.”
Blinking hostility narrowed her eyes dangerously at this boy. Raising a hand she wrapped it around his collar. “No. You go.” He grinned evilly, and grabbed her offending hand, digging his nails into her until he drew blood, then pushing her away once more. “I will not waste my time with you.”
The boy walked away, leaving a stunned Hostility in his wake. She turned after regaining some sort of sanity to find that he was already gone. Slowly she walked towards the swing and collapsed onto it. Bowing her head so that her hair covered her eyes she smiled. That got rid of some of my anger… She thought wearily, before laughing slightly and pushing herself on the swing.
