Melissa walked aroudn the beach. David next to her. It was now sunset. How romantic. "Um...Melissa...." david said, trying to fidn the write words "I was wondering...if you would be my gorlfriend for a while..." He said and blushed, He turn his head so she could see. "Sure. I kinda liek you too" Melissa said. Her eyes were closed. David smiled and looked at her. "Just, don't tell anyone. No one. last time it happened, back at home, no one would leave me alone. To everyone else, we're just friends" Melissa said. David noded and said "Ok." For a long time there was silence between them. A small blue light flickered in front of her. Melissa stopped and looked at the light. The light dimmed and a blue creature was looking at her. "Thats a pixie" David said. Melissa smiles "He's cute" she said. The pixie fluttered around her. "They are extreamly hard to catch" David said. Melissa held out her hand and the pixie sat on her hand. "Extreamly?" Melissa replyed with dought. HEr stcks out her finger and pets the pixie's small head. He smiled at her. "Can I keep it?" Melssa asked. "Sure" David said. Melissa smiles and said "I think I'll call him..." She thinks for a second "Lenny" she finished. The small pixie smiled at it's new name. "Lenny?" David repeated. "Yup. He looks like a Lenny" Melissa said. Lenny laid down on her hand and looked up at the sky. "Aww. He's so cute!" Melissa said like she would to a baby. David rolled his eyes. Melissa carefull takes her backpack off and set it on the ground. She set Lenny onthe same and he watched her. She takes out an oldshirt and rips it in half. When sticks half of it in the side pocket. She losened it up so he sound sit or lay in it. She picks him up and set in in. he moved it around a little bit then setted down and layed in the pocket. He had his own little bed now. David watched her the whole time without saying a word. She put her backpack back on and stand up. David was staring at her"What? He's got to have a bed to sleep on" Melissa said "It was an old shirt anyway" she added and started walking. David stayed by her side. "We better go back" David said finally, cutting through the silence. Melissa noded "Ya, I quess so" she said. They then started go back to the camp. Half away there Lenny flew out of the side pocket on her bacpack and sat on her shoulder. He stayed there and looked around as they walked. "What do pixie's eat, anyway?" Melissa asked. "Plants I quess. They don't eat meat" David said. Melissa smiled and said to Lenny "We're going to get around good. I don't eat meat either." Lenny's reply was his tiny voice, that sounded like bells. She hwas pretty sure that ment 'I bet we will have fun together'. When they got back to camp Melissa said "I quess I see you later" with that she walked into her tent. Only Ashley was in the tent. Melissa waved and sat on her bed. Ashley noded to her. Lenny fluttered into her bed. Ashley saw him and sat up. Her eyes seemed to say 'You caught one?' Melissa noded "I named him Lenny" she said. Ashley smiled. Melissa set up another bed for him by the side of her bed, made out of blankets she found stashed away. Which Lenny loved. he hid under the blankets and peeked his head out. Melissa would smile at him adn he would hide again. But for some reason he moved his bed away form the window, like he was afraid of something. So he slept under her bed. which was fine, but Melissa wondered why he was so afraid of the outdoors.
