Melissa lay on her bed, turned towards the wall. She ignored anyone that talked to her. Her pillow that they had given her was wet from her tears. Her life had just changed forever. She had lost he rbest friend, her brother didn't want to talk her to, and she scarred her skin for the rest of her life. Well, it was a good thing she was going to die when she was 27 anyaway. Melissa covered her head with her sleeping bag, not wanting anyone to see her face. There was a knock on the side. "Not right now" Luna said. Before the person could answer Callie said "Go away." Melissa still said nothing. The person walked in away. "What goign on?" a boy said. It was Matt. Melissa didn't say anything. She curled up on her bed. "Go away" Callie said. "Melissa?" Matt said, ignoring Callie. Melissa sits up in her bed. It was so easy to find MAtt, but it woudl also be just as easy to loss him again. SHe revaled her arms. "MAtt, we're goign home" Melissa said. "I don't want to go home" MAtt said back. "To bad, don't you think you've ruined my life already?" Melissa said, not looking at him. "I've lost my best friend because of you. We want you back home" MElissa said. "No! Dad doesn't want her home" Matt said "He's the one that dumped her into the ocean in the first place!" Melissa looked up at her brother but didn't say anything. "Then I'll go home alone. I wantd to bring you back but you don't want that" She finally said. "You can't leave with your tattoo" Luna said "It's like a curse" "Great! Now I'm cursed as well! Al because of you!" Melissa said and pointed at Matt. Matt was speachless. Melissa grabsed her baclpack off her bed and stood up. "Just leave me alone" Melissa snaps and stormed out of the tent. She ran into the forest, the way she had come in. She felt stupid, argueing with a 10 year old. But he had run away. she was stupid enough to fallow him. Now she couldn't leave, but it was worth a try. She heard someone behind her. SHe turns around. A boy was standing a couple meters behind her. Luna said his name was David. "What?" she said angery. "You must be hungry, we have some meat-" "Ew! Gross. No thanks. I'm a vegitarean" Melissa said. "Well, either way, you're not going to survive long out there" David said. "Fine. Come with me if you want" Melissa said and turned back around and started walking. David fallowed her. After an hour Melissa started getting hungry. She sat on a rock adn dug throw her backpack. She pulls out a container. "What is that?" David asked. "Waht? Lunch" Melissa said and opened the container "It looks...gross" he said "It's tofu. really good" Melissa said and ate some. "Want some?" she asked. "No thanks" David said. Melissa shrugs and eats more. When she finished she put the container away. David had a discusted look on his face. "What?" Melissa said and stood up. Before he could answer she stood up and started walking.
