yes, once again there is a time lapse of a couple monthes between posts, but here I am, regardless! *insert triumphant pose here* xd domokun

I ish happeh. I made a friend named Aaron yesterday that showed me a jap-eng manga translation chat, and a place to get free Fruits Basket (and other) manga translations. I'm going to burst with pure, untainted joy. But, only after I finish reading. xd

Anime club started a LONG time ago now, and it's running smoothly. Mostly. I feel like I'm finally doing something constructive for it. This is a very good thing, seeing as I'm vice president this year, and president next year. heart We've got four main projects under construction, and stuff to improve upon, etc. I'm working on actual flyers for the club for next year, so people will be able to know more than what a certain unreliable 'Rebel Report' (school news broadcast) can tell them. I'm going to be drawing and coloring them over the summer, get them approved by the vice principle(s) and hang 'em after the staff meeting next year. We're also getting new, louder, better speakers for anime-viewing pleasure, and an enclosed bulletin board to post announcements in next to the club's meeting room. And, we're getting a netflix (http://www.netflix.com/Default) account so we will have a bigger selection of anime than just what clubmembers own. It's going to be awesome. domokun heart

Yesterday I had an 'Anime Party', which was crazy. I don't think I've ever had so many poeple in my house before. eek x___x It was pretty chaotic, but it was a blast. We consumed sweet-and-sticky rice, spring rolls, pocky, and other such foods made by the luberly Aaron, talented chef and giver of manga translations. We also watched Fruits Basket (am I obsessed, or what?), and Full Metal Alchemist. 'Twas good. Two of my friends also spent the night so we could study for the AP History exam coming up May 6th. I feel kinda nervous just thinking about it. Which is a rarity, seeing as standardized testing NEVER makes me nervous. Oh well. It doesn't really count for anything other than the possibility that I might get away with not having to take US history in college. But, seeing as I'm hoping to go to Bates, which requires a really good score to get away with said event, I don't think it'll matter too much what I get. More of a matter of pride than anything else, I guess.

I'm finally posting piccies in the Art Arena. Sure as hell took me long enough to figure out how to. Ah, well. The confusion is a thing of the past, posting a thing of the present. I'm also getting picture requests. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling everytime somebody requests a pic. It makes me feel like I actually exist, maybe. heart Existing really isn't so bad, once you get a hand of it, I guess. wink

Anywho, my hands grow tired and I grow bored of typing, so I'll stop this entry here.
