Day Four- Eventfull but fruitless.
I was gone all day, and when I got home (surprise surprise) my CD was not in the mail. However, today was interesting to say the least. Me and Mom went to the mall to see the new Harry Potter movie (dispite numerous loud complaints on my part) and on the way through the mall to the theater, we passed Hot Topic- and more importantly, the big signs outside Hot Topic that let the world know that it was closing. After a good ten-minute struggle on Mom's part to keep me out of the store, we got to the movies. After two and a half wasted hours (if I can get through the scene where Sirius dies without crying, the film's a failure) I dragged Mom back to the store. As it turns out, my favorite store in the whole mall is indeed closing. On the bright side, everything in the store was 75% off and I got two shirts, a hat, some earings, and a pair of gloves for ten bucks. This is what the kids these days would call 'awesome'. Then, mostly out of desperation, I decided to give Spencers another chance to carry the purple hair dye I've been after. O shock and disbelief- they actually had it. And my wallet didn't burst into flames or anything! I actually managed to buy the correct hair dye and nothing went wrong. The world has come to an end. We stopped at the book store after that and I got Death Note vol. 3. Finally, we stopped at Target to get light bulbs, but while we were walking through the store we noticed this little girl by herself, walking up and down the main isle over and over again. We watched her for a minute, and she looked pretty upset, so we asked her if she was lost. It turned out she had gotten separated from her mom, so we kept her with us for about ten minutes until her mom showed up. I was glad we found her, but I was a little pissed that her mom seemed so unconcerned that her six-year-old had been scared and lost for a good fifteen minutes in the middle of a crowded store. Oh well, at least everything turned out OK. I ate too much pizza. I'm gonna go puke. Ta!
