Stuff.
They made their way through the thick brush as quickly as they could.
But only one heart pounded hard...
Only one breathed in the heavy air.
Because only one was human.
She pulled his hand along behind her as she pushed the branches aside.
Finally they reached their destanation.
A wide clearing where a lake could be seen for miles.
Her chest rose and fell as she smiled and tried to catch her breath.
She spun around to see him examining the area carefully.
His brilliant blue eyes hard to look away from.
"This is an amazing place, Tara, but why are we here again?" he said with a calm voice.
"It's somewhere we can be free. Somewhere I have known as a little girl to come in need to get away from reality"
Her eyes met his.
A serious expression took over his face.
"Oh come on, Thomas. You can't say this isn't what you wanted."
A mocking smile played on his lips.
She took his hand again and pulled him to the side of the lake.
The clear water sparkled, looking almost good enough to drink.
He looked over the water at the sun lowering slowley, but surely.
The beauty of the lake made him forget all about his plans.
Just then, she squeezed his hands as he looked down, snapping back into reality.
Her smile was different from any other smile he had ever seen.
Her eyes shifted from his mouth to his eyes as she bit her lip.
He couldn't help but smile back.
"So, um..." he cleared his throat.
Her eyes softened.
"Tara...there's something i've wanted to tell you" he bit his lip.
"I--".
She pressed her finger against his lips.
"Shh. Don't talk anymore" she said softley.
She was still smiling that different smile.
Her heart started to beat faster and faster with excitement.
His stood still...quiet, as always.
She brought her hands up to his sholders and slowley pressed her lips against his.
Her mind raced with so many thoughts that she didn't notice how cold his lips really were.
He staggered backwards.
This is bad.
His head spun with the sent of human blood...
He stepped back too far and fell on the many rocks.
She also flew back, but her head was filled with only one thought.
First kiss.
Amazing.

He held his head and groaned loudly.
She sat up.
Her smile faded into terror.
His eyes shot open.
He was on his feet faster than the eyes can see.
She stared into his eyes.
They wern't blue anymore.
But pure black.
He stared at her, fangs bearing.
A wave of hunger hit him again as he stumbled backwards, clutching his head.
Confused, she stood up.
Right then, he hovered over her, grabbing her by the throat.
She coughed and struggled under his iron grip.
Another wave hit him as he let go and fell to the ground.
She held her throat, staring at him in horror.
"T-Tara" he coughed.
"Whats wrong, Thomas! I don'tknow what's going on!" she cried.
Tears fell from her eyes.
"I...I shouldn't have done this, Tara...i'm so sorry".
He stood faster than she could blink, appearing behind her.
She spun around.
"I can't see you anymore, Tara...Vampires and humans just don't work"
'But we can make it work out Thomas! I love you" she wiped her eyes.
"I tried...I love you too...but i must leave...goodbye forever Tara".
He wispered and dissapeared into the blackness.
"Thomas! Thomas!!" she cried.
Tears dripped all over the forest floor as she searched hopelessly for him in the dark of night.
"Thoma--" she tripped on a rock, hitting her head on a fallen tree.
Knocked out cold.
