Er, yes heroes! xD
I gotta call from my baby brother today. He had a dream about drowning. At first I was like..."Okay, don't really give a ********." I used to think of heroes being people who were famous, like my heroes are Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Jackie Chan...But then my older brother is also a hero. My brother tortured me when I was a kid (..Not sexually, he just pushed me around and beat me up.) but today I think of him as a hero. He hadn't done anything to me to show me how great he was, but I just knew inside of the ******** was an actually good person. We all make mistakes, and we all deserve a second chance. I gave my brother more then just a second chance, actually this should be his seventh. But whatever, my brother called me a hero. I wasn't really sure why...but I went along with it and acted like I hadn't done anything. He said he called me because he remembered the time when he almost drowned in my backyard.
I was about ten and my baby brother was about four. He had fallen off the edge of the pool and because he couldn't swim tried to fight to get to his mom who ran over to the edge of the pool, but she couldn't jump in because she was pregnant. I guess without putting much thought into it I dived in and instantly swam over to him, and pushed him towards his mom. (I pushed him because I wasn't strong enough to drag his a** over to the edge. xD )
I guess I'am sort of a hero, but barely any. There was another time when me and my younger sister where swimming, or I was swimming and she was trying to learn. She got to bold and went into the seven feet area. She started screaming, and yet again I flew into the water to get her. I know it hurt her, but I had to pull her up to the surface by her hair first, and then grab her waist. I only had to pulled her hair though because she kept thrashing around, and I really couldn't reach her damn hands. Funny, I never get a call from her. >.> Lol.
Its really funny to me how I turn out to be a hero to my younger brother, and my older brother is a hero to me. Without thinking I guess I became what I admired. I'm always told to try to set an example for the younger kids, but I end up just being myself. xD Myself is enough though for an example. ^=^

I almost drowned once.
I went to my dad's friends house with my parents, and I went
in their swimming pool. So I didn't know how to swim, and I slipped down the edge
into the deep end (I was like, 5 maybe?) and I was thrashing around to stay above
water, but I'd already inhaled too much. I saw my parents laughing and talking to
my dad's friends, and I wanted to ******** kill them.
But I realized it wasn't their faults. So the daughter of the guy's family came and
helped me, realizing I was drowning. I hurt her when she tried to help me,
and I let their animals outside (heh... don't ask), but I was alive! XDD
I'm so grateful so was there to this day. She's kinda my hero,
so I understand what you mean.
I just hope I'll become like you and start to take after my heros,
and be able to set examples.
