I'm completely and utterly happy, and I haven't even had to meditate! I danced around in the rain yesterday, and later got a phone call from my dad! He told me that we are going to Indiana on July 5th, and coming back the following Sunday! Today, it rained again and I danced in it once more. I cannot remember another time that I have been this happy!
The rain inspires me, so here's a nice little poem.
Wash Away
The storm is coming near.
Bring in your pets,
get indoors.
No one knows
what could happen here.
I step out into pounding drops.
I face the humid air,
I allow the rain
to fall down my face.
There's a stream behind my house.
Dare I go to it?
Dare I risk my life?
Open the gate,
walk through the tall grass,
and stare the gushing waters down.
Tears are clouded
under drops on my cheeks,
eyes ever so emotional.
Pick up a leaf,
and begin to speak.
Like my very life,
this leaf has fallen down.
Like my very life,
this leaf will wash away.
Like my very life,
this leaf is no longer a part of anything.
Drop the leaf
into the raging stream.
Jump in.
Let the stream wash away my fears.
Let the stream wash away my tears.
Let the stream wash away the smears
of my life.
Let it wash away everything,
until my body is no more.
Let it wash away the skin,
and let my soul be free.
Let it wash away my being,
and let my soul become one with the water.
The storm is no more now.
It's too late,
because I too,
am no more.
Haha, yes, I know, I don't sound very happy in that poem. But if you know me, you know that I can write about the worst things and be in a good mood! xD
Oh yes, I also got a digital camera! Whoo!
