Eraserblade
Swimming in your apathy
Drowning in its tide
Choking on the feelings
You could only hide
Like scars under sleeves
And poems tossed away
Nobody ever noticed
Until the final day
Nobody saw the warnings
You hid them much too well
You kept them all from knowing
Just how far you fell
And now that you are dead
They will all move on
And soon memories of you
Will too be gone
A ghost without a name
A corpse without a face
It's startling how easily
You have been erased
Dawn
Darkness is surrounding me
Stealing all my air
As I’m suffocating
I find that I don’t care
I’ve decided to embrace it
This chilling thing called death
I’m greeting it with open arms
As I draw my final breath
My world is collapsing
And I’m still trapped inside
The cracks that I’ve been making
Are now too large to hide
I’m too far gone for saving
But sure, feel free to try
Keep trying to convince yourself
That I don’t have to die
We both know you’re wrong
And I will soon be gone
But don’t despair yet, my love
I still have until the dawn
