Reality and Wishes
One day, Tiffy asked me how/why rainbows were made
Tiffy, I've changed some things.

Once upon a time, high in the sky, much beyond the clouds and even stars, there lived a fairy named Pax.
The fairy watched over earth, because she was smart enough to know that there was no god to watch over the people whom lived there. She enjoyed seeing them, everyone getting along and making babies, but sometimes she would get upset because there was no color.
The fairy loved color, and thought that the people of earth would love color as well, so, since she was a scientist, she made a mchine which would release the wavelenghts which would turn out to be color.
She slaved over the hot machine, and eventually, it was finished. The fairy picked up the machine, and threw it down onto the earths surface. It survived the fall, and began making rainbows all over earth.
Thousands of years later, the machine somehow broke, so the fairy jumped from her place in space to go fix it. The fairy forgot how high up she was, so when she landed she broke every bone in her body.
Meanwhile, a man named Pow was walking along when something caught his eye. Looking down, he found that it was a leprechaun. Pow didn't like the leprechaun, so he squished it. Unbeknownst to him, whenever you kill a leprechaun, a curse is set upon you which tuns you into a leprechaun yourself! So in a mere minute, he was only inches tall.
As he ran franticly, he ran across the fairy who was to fix the machine.
"Mr. Leprechaun, sir. Would you mind doing me a favor?" She asked, looking down at the tiny man.
He stared at the woman's bottom, unhearing of her voice.
"Excuse me?" She said, moving a tad to the right. "Would you do me a favor?"
"Sure." He said, trying to get on her good side.
"I made a machine many years ago, used to create rainbows. Would you mind fixing it for me?"
"Yeah, but how?"
"Well, you're a leprechaun, correct? Just place some of your gold into the machine and it will magically be fixed." She said wisely.
"Okay, where is it?"
"Just follow that rainbow." She pointed. "Hurry though, because it will soon disappear."
And with that the leprechaun was off.
After walking along the green line of the rainbow, Pow was at the machine. He pulled some gold from his jacket pocket, and placed it in a coin slot on the machine. Stepping back, he stared at it in awe.
Rainbows shot out from all sides of the machine, making the world brighter and brighter with each second. As his eyes followed a certain rainbow, the leprechaun saw it lift the fairy up and beyond the clouds.
He sat next to the machine days after it was fixed, just in case something may happen again. And one day, the fairy floated down next to him.
"I would like you to protect the machine." She said, sitting atop of it.
"I guess I'd be fine with that."
"Good, because a myth has gone around that if you follow a rainbow to the end, you'll find a pot of gold. This machine is the end to all rainbows, so people may try to steal the machine."
"I'll protect it."
Waving her hands, Pax provided him with a large gun. "Protect it with this." She dropped it onto the tiny man.
"O... kay." He said from under the gun, and before he could say another word, she was gone.

So to this day, Pow still protects the machine with his gun, and dumps all of the bodies into the Bermuda Triangle. Not one person has even touched the machine.
