The FUTURE in my vision...

A normal morning becomes dark as if there is an eclipse, the Earth trembles as if Hell has risen above the ground, showers of fire fall from the sky, gigantic tsunami sized waves wash out the islands and made them disappear from the map, buildings collapse, people die in an instant, giant meteors fall from the sky making Earth look like Mercury, Man depletes all the mineral resources, the Earth's magnetic field disappears making Earth vulnerable to Solar flares burning it to a crisp, every single plant life and animal life suddenly becomes extinct.....
But, there's still hope....
By the time this happen, Man would have made the planet Mars more habitable through terraforming, developing a shuttle made to bring humans to Mars, and nearly escaped the destruction thus saving mankind from complete extinction...

But I still have one question...
Is man smart enough to make this happen?
