You may think, as you gaze upon your ferret, that it would make a cute companion to, say, your pet mouse, or nibbles the bunny, or maybe even your cute little pet hampster, but this is NOT true, Ferrets are natural killers, that will seek out and destroy your smaller "family members" without a second thought. Bottom line is: DO NOT PUT A FERRET IN THE SAME ROOM AS OTHER SMALL MAMMALS OR THE OTHER SMALL MAMMALS WILL SOON BE NO MORE. And don't think that your cage will protect your fuzzy prey, for ferrets find a weakness, through push cage off raised surface, or finding a way to open the door, plus, the fuzzy treat will be scared, even sometimes to death of the ferret in the room.
