What's so hard about calling people up and telling them that they aren't getting the job?
I've been waiting and waiting and waiting.. after every interview, they ******** lie to my face and tell me that it looks promising, that they just have to pass the paperwork to their district managers, and then they'll give me a call in a day or two to tell me if I got the job or not.
I just called Chico's a couple hours ago because they said they'd call me in a day or two (that was Friday morning), and since it's Wednesday, I wanted to call to make them know for sure that I DID want and need the job.. and she told me, "I was going to call you this afternoon, but you beat me to it! Since our store manager left, we have to wait until our new one starts and she'll review the paperwork and want to interview you as well, which will be in another week or two." So why didn't you tell me that first? Why did you tell me it would be a day or two, when you knew it would be another WEEK or two?
What the hell.
I hate North Carolina.
