Luna Speaks O.O Again....someone tell her to shut up already ^_^
I remember it was cloudy that day....all day, which was odd for our side of the island. The storm that brewed was the most horrible thing I had seen in my life. Our chief said we lost a third of our island that day to the hungry waves. The crazy thing was that the storm only lasted two minutes in time. It's funny how quickly things that took years to build could melt away before your eyes in such a small measurement of time.
But it was after that storm had cleared when the old woman stood grinny on our beach. There was not a drop of water on the raggedy old woman's body....not anywhere! "Luna," the old woman called to me, "I have come to bear your fate."
I stepped away from the woman. Luna was not my name. Was this some demon swept in from the storm? My mind was racing.
"When the towers become one," said the old woman, "In that very spot, you will awaken. For too long you have slumbered. Your shadows await you."
I wish I could remember my name....I bet it was something nice....something calm, like the rain. I wish I could still remember the faces of the villagers, but I cannot. Why is it that some people are fated to become something....well....more? I must get my head straight before this darkness that was blessed upon me becomes my torment.
