Everyone kinda knows I'm feverently pro-choice. And if you didn't, you do now.

I have my personal reasons, and I have my public reasons, and while I won't delve into it too much in this entry, if you want to ask, PM me.


Well, bored and up too late again...I was looking for various graphical inspiration for the layout that I've been "working on" but not actually doing anything with. Well, one search leads to another, leads to another, leads me back where I started and around again. Somehow (and really, I don't even remember how it happened; I was on auto-pilot) I started looking up pro-choice graphics, and saving a few to put up on my MySpace in the pro-choice album I intend to start. Eventually. Kinda like that layout...

Anyway...I came across this:

Now, no, it's not like it's the first time I've seen this crap. These lies that they feed you to "save the preborn" (hate that term, BTW). I've seen a thousand times before.

But everytime I see things like this, it angers me.

I will not take a low road and say that these people aren't Christians. But I will say that if they can honestly believe that what they're doing is right, their beliefs are not any that I'll be joining in on.

And y'know...it's not even that I have an inherent problem with someone who is pro-life. I don't. I have a huge problem, however, with those who call themselves pro-life, and yet act like the people on that page.


I mostly hate that they're having their VERY YOUNG CHILDREN holding these signs in a few of the shots. Dear lord, I woulda hurled my Fruit Loops when I was that age. I can't watch those surgical shows my dad likes without gagging. Hell, I get queasy watching ER.

I always have a problem seeing parents only expose their children to one side of such a heavy argument...but it's an even bigger problem when they're forcing signs on them, bigger than they are, with graphic pictures such as those...and to top it all off, I recognize at least half those pictures as the ones that have been DISPROVEN! Way to fill your children's heads with LIES.


But you know, I really shouldn't expect much from a bunch of people that consider birth control wrong too. Anyone catch the lady pregnant with her TENTH child? No one in America should have that many children, unless they're adopting them all. Hey, if you're gonna be advocating that women be forced through pregnancy so they can give their children away to all those couples supposedly waiting, why not take a few yourself? And half of 'em better be gay, AIDs and cancer ridden black and hispanic crack-addicted boys over the age of 8. With disabilities.

Oh, that's right. They don't give a damn about it once it's here (until of course it has an occupied womb, and even then, they're interested in the contents, and not the ACTUAL PERSON).

All I'm saying is that there's only been one (that's right, ONE) pro-life person that's ever done a damn thing for me and my daughter, and she was already friends with me a six years or so before-hand.
