Lying in bed
hope that I'm dreaming
feeling the pain
and hearing the screaming.
And I can't help but wonder
"Am I why they fight?"
I hear my name constantly
as I cry through the night.

Dad says he's leaving
he's moving away
tears run down my cheeks
as I plead him to stay.

I run to my room
as I scream and I cry
and yell in my pillow
"Why me God? Why?"

And my mom's in her room
choking on tears
because she knew this would happen
through out all these years.

Why fall in love
if you just fall back out
through out all the lies
and through out all the doubt.

And when I'm at school
no on can tell
that inside I am bleeding
and I'm living in Hell

But when I get home
I scream and I cry
And yell at my ceiling,
"Kill me God! I want to die!"

And when people are over
they smile and they fake
but inside I wonder
how much can they take?

Im seeing them die
I'm watching love fade
I'm closing the drawer
and I'm holding the blade.
