Right leg (from her view) is bent too much near the knee and would hurt like a b***h in real life, but otherwise, it does look like she's crouched with one hand on the ground and another in the air. It's a good first attempt. Much, much, much better then my first 3D car attempt.
I suppose you might want to know a technique I found out from a REALLY GOOD artist, why, only yesterday. When you use pencils, if you like, use a finger, you can spread the lead around so it gives it a bit of a "shaded" look, seen here:
The middle part of the apple is the shading. BTW, his (Daniel Cooke's) apple was black and white, and it looked really good, I'd say almost as good as this.
Of course, to prevent blisters, you could try one of those nail sanders. Or, better yet, something slightly abrasive that won't ruin the image. I'll have to think about something like that besides your finger, but, it is a good start for a crouched position.
