So basically...my mother is one of the most ignorant people I know. Sometimes, I think she doesn't *think* before she speaks. And many of her comments tend to be so ignorant and wrong, it's actually a bit comical.
So, a wonderful collection of things that have actually come out of her mouth.
--"Well, yeah. All black people come from the South from being brought over as slaves."
-In response to a news blip saying Barack Obama might have some southern roots.
--"I wonder if he was an illegal."
-News report on a man sentenced for rape, the man just happened to be Mexican.
--"There's no excuse for that. All she needs to do is eat right."
-Another news report, about a women getting gastric bypass. She says this while she's eating fried chicken rolleyes
--"That's why she can't get her own show. She parades around her gayness. People don't want to see that."
-Talking about Rosie O'Donnell.
