It was a failure...
Because of it, I've come to the realization that maybe it was always impossible to revive a corpse.
Death is apparently made to be irreversible, and it was made undeniably so.
But...
Something else was produced.
A creature, capable of continuous exertion without need for rest.
True, it has drawbacks. For instance, it must continue to feed every few hours or it becomes violent and cannibalistic. It also requires simple instructions; anything involving more than one task at a time reverts it to a food derived state.
Regardless, this is a momentous occasion. If only this creature could be harnessed...
