I promised myself, much like him, that I would not love again. I had hurt and been hurt so many times. I felt so much more than forsaken. I was losing my sanity. My pain was so great, and I did not know, if I could handle another person in my life. I was shutting everyone out, falling into that safe place in my mind. That place started crumbling, I needed help. He asked me if I would share my pain, he asked if he could help. I was reluctant, but I trusted him. I see light in my future now. I think I'll survive. With him by my side....
