I just wanted to tell you that you are an amazing artist. Your use of lighting is impressive (Although I think you either over-lit the gentleman with the tail, or under-lit the surrounding area. That much light shining on him would also be shining on the floor in front of him and the walls around him, and yet those are all dark.) And your grasp on texture and depth leave me quite jealous.

Thanks! heart The dude was intentionally overlit in order to separate him more from the background. I think of it as artistic liberty rather than a mistake, but who knows -- I've looked at old works of mine where I intentionally exaggerated certain things, and they looked terrible. ^^; Maybe a couple of years later, when I look back at this picture, I'll feel the same way.

keiiii, you shouldn't be stressing over this! you know you're a brilliant artist and how gifted you are, you just need to relax and let things come to you and have fun with what you do, i know you can do it and good luck on your contest!!!!!!! Like you'll need it but i send it your way all the same

Contest aside Its a beautiful piece of art. Vibrant Colors amongst dark shadows, life like detailing. Wonderful work. Good luck on the contest.
