For real.....after Fates' servers closed, I watched GameXplain playing Mario Kart 8 til Andre left the server. Apparently peeps were still able to play as long as they got in before the shutdown.
I think that probably explained why I was allowed to be in one of the My Castle servers just as it turned 6pm EST. I personally didn't know until near the end of the online's life that one could get skills from the units the recruit....WHELP! XD I'm glad I know now since I have some nifty skills for Joker/Jakob, Corrin, some of the royals ect. Tho I think some peeps hacked in skills units aren't mean to use??
Isn't Hoshido Unity exclusive to Kamui and Kana?

Honestly I think this hits Splatoon 1 the hardest given how I really loved those maps + the multiplayer a lot. I'm hoping Pretendo is able to get the servers up and running in the future!
Not sure on Fates but they are working on Splatoon 1, Kid Icarus Uprising and some other things. It will be a bit of a pain in the a** to fully take advantage of Fates' features without homebrew or Citra.
(Idk if peeps can still find the emulator after the lawsuit. I'm not knowledgeable on this sort of thing.)
