Who am I?
Well... Let’s see a little about me? I'm 30 and I have many hobbies and interests! I'm am happily married to a wonderful woman!
I enjoy fandom, and I am a proud 'fangirl' (not the crazy fanatical kind) leaning towards the slashy side
wink For those who do not know slash is another way to say two people of the same sex together. Being pan sexual myself I have no problem reading slash or het and the pairings I get into are due to the characters own interactions as opposed to gender in specific.
A few of my Favorite pairings are including these but not limited to:
Gundam Wing (My FIRST anime): Duo/Wufei, Heero/Duo
Fruits Basket: Tohru/Kyo
Naruto: Naruto/Shikamaru, Naruto/Sasuke,
Harry Potter: Harry/Draco, Harry/Luna, Harry/Snape, Harry/Seamus, Harry/Hermione, Neville/Luna
Kingdom Hearts: Sora/Riku, Seifer/Hayner
I support gay marriage! I believe that Love is Love. I believe that love is the purest force in the world (and I don't mean the stuff you hear about now... "OMG I LUV insert random object/person/character!!1!!11!" or the whole "He/She is so good looking I want to BEEP then now" I mean actual LOVE! Not obsession, not infatuation, not a crush.) and that if its in your belief that God granted us this emotion how could it ever be wrong? Now I don't think the religions of the world should be forced to accept it but the people and governments need to stop discriminating and start protecting peoples rights. If anything here in America we have the whole "Separation of Church and State" for a reason.
All people should have access to the same rights. Separate is NOT equal as we all should have learned from the civil rights movement. Marriage is not a religious institution holy matrimony is, marriage is a legal contract of two people joining together for the rest of their lives. Also for those that think the Civil Unions are equal, they are not. The rights for a married couple rank at about 2 thousand whereas the right for a civil union couple are just over 100. Some big rights being denied to same sex partners include the right to not provide a testimony against your spouse in court, insurance, being counted as family in case of emergencies or hospitalization, and of course you're not recognized as a married couple even in places where gay marriage is an accepted practice.
Okay enough of my own personal rant!
Its late so I’ll finish this another time!
