X✖XHmm, maybe I'll give it another try. Though, by the few clips of the anime I've seen, I think it will just annoy me. At least in the manga and webcomics there were lots of footnotes explaining the historical significance to their antics so you can actually get the shallow jokes.
Meh .. I just checked out a few Youtube videos of the dub. I'm not amused. The stereotypical accents are kind of annoying, and I really just didn't think it was good sounding dubbing overall.
Scandinavia and the World is a comic series by Deviantart user Humon. Her comics (And also the "Neils" comics) are ******** hilarious. Pfffft, this one happens to be one of my favorites. (No, not all her comics mention manga/anime, in face most of them don't, and have to do with current affairs)

I attempted to read the manga a while back. Was kinda funny, but not super enjoyable. If I had to choose my anthropomorphic country comics, I prefer the stylings of Scandinavia and the World by Humon.
