A really really long and Completely Unneccessary Introduction

Chello there fellow Gaians and welcome to my profile!

Really, to keep things simple, the first and only thing you should know about me is that I love badgers. End of story.

But, if you're one of those creepy stalkerish types that actually reads other people's "About Me" sections, then read on! I applaud your patience. (Read: I'm guilty.)

In case you somehow got here without knowing what my username even was, which is highly unlikely but still possible, my username is Stars Flying. I go by a number of cruel and unusual nicknames, including Star, Stars, Flyin’ (and other variations of fly), Starama, and Starly. You can call me any of those, or you can even make one up, as long as it’s somewhat obvious. Although, even if it’s a bit too clever for most people, I’ll probably get it. People tell me I'm smart, but I have no idea how smart I actually am compared to most people, since I can only tell what goes on in my own head. And now I'm just rambling.

I live in an obscure, far-off mystical land known as Oregon. Contrary to popular belief, not all Oregonians are hippies, nor can they match a bird to its call. We’re just like the rest of the United States, except we’re more laid-back. There’s no such thing as aggressive driving, and I hear the words “gang” or “fight” less than once a year. But beyond this, I’m not going to say much. Stalking gets creepy when someone actually finds out where, exactly, I live.

On a completely unrelated topic, I like badgers. Just sayin’.
BUT I don’t just like badgers. I also like lots of random stuff, such as:
• Math. Especially calculus. ESPECIALLY those cheesy calculus pick-up lines.
• Computer science. My dad writes code for a living, and he’s taught me a bit. It’s pretty damn interesting.
• Fashion. I’m kind of a geek, but I like girly clothes and makeup and things. Although, I usually draw the line at anything hot pink.
• Outer space. Parallel universes, anti-matter orbits, the effects of black holes on time, et cetera. It all fascinates me.
• Animals. I love them all, from the cute cuddly ones to the giant rhinoceroses (I had to use spellcheck for that). But if I had to pick a favorite, it would be gargoyles.
• Music. As technical as I am, I do need to take a break from all my science-y stuff and relax with something artistic. I listen to lots of different genres, so feel free to chat up whatever type you listen to.
• Tekteking. It’s an old hobby of mine, but I love matching and layering. It feeds my passion for fashion. (Yes – I rhyme sometimes. Get used to it.)
• Puns. Even the bad ones. There was this kid in my trig class named Noah… he never heard the end of it.
• Weird foods. Occasionally, when time allows, I’ll go somewhere with my family, just to try something new. The other day, I went to an Ethiopian family-style place, and it was GREAT.
• Pokemon. Especially mudkips. They're my favorites, next to badgers.
• Tekteking. If you want one, just ask - I tektek for free, but I do accept tips (hint hint). Look me up on Tektek for examples using the tags Stars Flying Contest or Stars Flying 3. And if you want to steal, at least ask me first. If you ask, I'll probably be okay with it, but if you don't and I find out... well, it won't be pretty.

Things I don’t like:
• Beggars. No, I don’t mean the ones in real life.
• “That’s what she said” jokes. Two words: GROW UP.
• Teenage drama. Save it. No one wants to hear it, unless it’s actually something major like someone dying. But agonizing over a rumor that a cute guy at school doesn’t like you? Get over it.
• You (just kidding! I <3 everyone!)
