yeah i leave it in all the time. it doesn't touch my teeth or anything and i've not had a problem with getting it stuck on food... mouth wounds heal really fast so it wouldn't be a good idea to take the jewelry out for too long.

mine didn't get infected at all. it was just really red for about a week and now it looks fine. i read a lot about taking care of it and everything though before i got it.
my parents didn't want me to get it but i had wanted my lip pierced for well over a year so i just finally did it. my dad didn't like it at first but he doesn't say anything now. my mom likes it though. i dunno. sometimes it kind of is annoying but it is so cute that it is worth it.
