I'm only saying what I read. And most of the original fairy tales had depressing endings. But hey I'm not one to talk now am I? My books can go either way. With the books I write, you never know how the book is going to end because some of my books have sad endings, and some have good endings.

They did it for for a good reason. Disney made all the fairy tales more light hearted for the kids, as a way for them to be able to enjoy and experience the fairy tales..Without having to go through all the depressing of the original books.

Like the Jungle Book characters destroying everyone in the village....The Beast from Beauty and the Beast dying...Pinocchio being torn apart by sharks...Ariel turning into sea foam because the Prince didn't return her love. Or Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty getting raped while in acoma. So Disney was actually doing all the little kids a good thing, softening up the real fairy tales for them to enjoy as kids..Because of course later in life the little kids would grow up and read the original books and read all this stuff.

._. you can laugh if you want. But I'll tell you right now, Peter Pan has been my favorite Disney/ fairy tale character a long time. So yes, Peter Pan >w>
