Hey there!
My name is Hope, I'm 32 years old, and for some reason still goofing around on Gaia. rolleyes

IRL, I'm a telescope operations specialist for an observatory. It's a pretty cool job that fits somewhere between being a nerd scientist and an engineer, so it's fun stuff. Plus, it lets me live on Maui, so that's a plus mrgreen
I'm also an avid pole dancer, aerial hoop/lyra performance artist, hiker, minecraft builder, and a goth/alternative gal. So yeah, feel free to ask me questions about any of that stuff or blab with me about our common interests.

Here on Gaia though, I'm mostly lurking the GD or playing the MP. Say hi if you see me around or buying up all your s**t! rofl

Having some rooms done is great! I remember batching all the repairs in my house-(e.g doors, wall s, window frames, painting etc) so it took several months. My house had been abandoned for years though and nature was reclaiming it...

I never got into Minecraft, but I know there is a lot of things you can do in the game.

You aren't missing anything in the forums...same old same old: Politics, daily happenings, and random nobodies who brag that they 'used to be popular' on Gaia...(lololol...)

Question for you space science watcher. Did your facility see/pick up/whatever the proper science term is the solar storm/aurora? Or is Maui too far south?

We have a smallllll community observatory that has a few different baby solar telescopes I got to use but I didn't drive all the way down there at night, could kinda see see it from my house. More pink than anything else.
