The creeping Floor didnt help Ann`s attempt for a silent escape.With every step she made, the butterflys in her stomach got more
and more fluttery.
She kept looking around to see if her heavy sounds had woken
the neighbors.
Her naturely plump lips quivered in the dark. ``Almost there``, she
tried to convince herself. She knew
she wouldnt escape the Grims hands but she had hope. Worthless
hope. ``Almost there, almost there``,
she whispered again. Suddenly the floor under her slim body spilt
open and she fell into complete darkness.
She finally cracked. Tears filled her face and covered her torn shirt.
Then a eerie, almost silent, voice echoed in
endless space silencing the wimpers of Ann. Wind started blowing
in from all directions. Calmly at first
then stronger and stronger. Ann Screamed and screamed at the
pain of her skin ripping off her body.
Body part by body part, her life ended only to wake up beside it.
It was staring at her like she was not there.
Was she? It started advancing towards her, floating over the black
soil. Her heart was beating so hard. Then
out of the darkness came the roar of a creature so humongous. It
came into view and with a gust of air, it blew
its fire of gold at the Grim. I couldnt believe my eyes when the
Grim disappeared. I looked for the Dragon but
saw nothing. I am forever greatful to that Brute. Forever.
