Doom Guy (as he is commonly called) is the player character of the popular first-person shooter game Doom and its sequels. A nameless space marine in an unspecified future time, he's been posted to the Union Aerospace Corporation's research base on the Martian moon of Phobos, where a teleportation experiment goes wrong and releases hordes of bloodthirsty monsters into the base. As the only human left alive, he fights his way through the creatures to try and find a way off of Phobos, but instead finds himself transported to the homeland of the monstrous invaders, which turns out to be Hell itself.

Back on Earth, he has a pet rabbit named Daisy, who unfortunately did not survive when the demons invaded Earth.

Additionally, according to the infamous Doom comic book, he is also batshit insane.
