You start forming the vocabulary that you'll be using the rest of your life as a child. And if you don't make a habit of using good grammar when you're younger, it will be extremely difficult to use it when you're older.
Also, aren't you a bit young for Gaia then?

Yes, and yes, I know that texting is now commonly used. However, it's not like you can use text or chat speak when applying for a good college and honestly think that they'll let you in, or that you can write a letter stating your opinion in either of those forms and expect them to take you seriously and actually value your opinion. Just because something is frequently said doesn't make it correct or proper.

Nope! But honestly, if you use proper spelling you can get your point across without getting people ignoring what you're saying just because of your spelling. By using correct spelling and grammar, you can communicate more clearly and honestly not make a fool of yourself.
Actually, I would have found it really funny and freaky if I turned out to be one of your parents, but that's impossible XD. It would have been a great ironic twist. Sorry. Just had to say that.

Miss, your spelling is atrocious. It is spelled "offense". Please, if you are going to insult me for no apparent reason, at least use somewhat proper grammar. Perhaps capitalization and punctuation.
