Once upon a time, in a far away land live Darealle, Daniel and Shiyo, three teenage friends- very good friends.

One day, all of were given an invitation for the upcoming birthday of the princess.

Of course, these teenagers were invited as well. They are all very excited to come.

They spent their day and night talking on and on about what they might find in the palace.

They’ve never been there. They are just commoners who have to pass through a lot of work to get food in their stomachs every day.

They were too excited but as the disappointing truth returned to their mind.

They all but felt happiness. All the excitement and planning went to waste.

To think that they weren’t able to sleep because of their high hopes.

They didn’t have enough energy to finish the day’s work. “Come on! We can’t continue like this!” Daniel has had enough.
“We worry about this birthday party and we can’t work right. We don’t even have enough money to feed three mouths.”

He crossed his arms, looking at the girls with intensity.
“But…but I really wanna go,” Darealle mumbled. She was in tears now.

Amongst the three, Darealle was the one who looked forward at the party the most.

Shiyo patted her back for comfort and turned to Danielle to glare.

He slumped back to his bed, heads down. Minutes passed and they stayed like that.

Darealle refused to sleep Shiyo can’t just leave her be. Darealle crawled out of bed and rummaged through her box.
She got out her sketchpad, pencil, and eraser. They were gifts from Shiyo. Danielle gave her a shirt.

They worked hard for those gifts. Darealle gave them a drawing set like hers. They all had talent.

They would draw in it when they have time. Then it clicked.

“Hey! If we get enough money for food and for miscellaneous stuff, will that be okay?” she looked at them with eyes sparkling with excitement.

That night their business plan was formulated.

Everyone agreed that they will just try it out.

Danielle made Darealle promise that if the plan doesn’t work she’ll forget all about the palace and the party.

The next morning was their day off. It was the perfect day to start their business.

They readied their sketchpads and pencils. They posted a sign on the wall.

Like every story, the plan doesn’t go well at first. It’s up to the people after all. Whether they’ll help these three get to the ball or not…
