I am Scarthman, I won't tell you my real name because my parents will take the internet away from me if I do. But anyway, i really don't have much of anything to talk about.
I have finished questing completely and now just get items at random that I think look kinda cool. Like my flame swords, I think they look awesome, I got them because of that.
I won't donate to people, so don't ask, and don't send me random PM's, i get way too many of them as it is. Now if you wanna PM me and say hi or ask me something, that's fine with me.
I help out noobs all the time, so feel free to ask any questions that relate to gaia. I'm not a member of any guilds that help out noobs or anything like that, I just help at random with noobs. I know what it's like being a noob, I was one once, just like everyone else. I know how it feels to get your first 1K, and to get your first friends, your first quest completed, to join your first guild, to sell your first thing on the market, to make your first trade. I remember exactly how it was, exactly how I felt, I know how it was. My first quest was for the fly suit and mask, I got them both and was so happy to be able to do that. I bought both and I felt how it was to get my first items. Back then, I was questing for items that weren't above 3K, now I would quest for stuff that's 10K and over, just so say that I have it. To say that I can do it. And I still get that same feeling of success when I've finished a quest or gotten and item I've wanted for a long time, it really makes you feel good about yourself on gaia. I will help noobs complete their quests and help them the whole way through, but I will not donate to anyone, I will give advice on how to make money, I've got over 500K to my name right now, to me, I've got a lot of money, to others, this is nothing. There are some gaians who are millionares on gaia, 500K to them is like nothing. To me, it's a whole lotta gold. For me to consider somebody 'wealthy' on gaia, they need at least 30K, for them to be rich, I would consider that at the 200K mark, for them to be overly rich, you need at least 1 million gold. But that's just a personal opinion.
I spend most of my time on gaia in the marketplace, closely watching items for them to deflate, then buy them and sell when they inflate. You can really make a lot of money that way.
I have to say, if it weren't for my friend, Rabidsidian, I would never be as wealthy as I am. In fact, I wouldn't even be on gaia. I started about 3 years ago and on my first day, I got so confused trying to find my way through the site, I quit. I didn't have anything but my account and 523g. Back then you started with 500g and I got 23 from surfing gaia, I tried so hard to figure it out but got too confused and quit right there. About a year later, My friend, rabidsidian, told me about this and I remembered I made an account on here a while back. I signed into my old name and I got logged in. He told me exactly how everything works, he told me exactly who to use gaia and what to and to not do. From there, I've gained a lot of experience on gaia and learned a good amount about it. I've become as rich as I ever wanted, and the gold just keeps rolling in. I've got enough money to make almost any avi I want. I am finally happy and able to relax, I've gotten everything I ever wanted on gaia, Now i can sit back and finally have fun, I can play the game of gaia online. I can now do go to the forums without having to rush through them, trying to make as much gold as I can. I can actually sit back and talk. I can now go into the gaia games and play them, not rush through trying to fill my bucket with fish, or spend all the tokens I have as fast as I can so I can get back to make more money. I can now go through slowly and have fun with it.
Gaia has really became sort of an online home to me, I come here and everyone likes me, I can go anywhere, people like me, my avi, they like everything. Or at least most of them do. I really wouldn't mind being poor right now, although it would make me really mad if somebody hacked me. I worked for 2 years trying to get this, and losing it like that would just make me so mad. I wouldn't quit gaia, I would still continue, I would get back all the gold I had.
