LOL, you like the atmosphere in CB? It's the same as it was when I joined, I'll
give you that. I despite the trolls, though.

Yeah, I've been through two interviews for special programs and they just mess
you up.

I hope you get what you want, too ^^

Oh, yeah, that really sucked the fun out of Gaia. (Or it still does, actually.) A
lot of my friends actually quit way before it happened, though, I guess because
they found better things to do. If I didn't get into coding profiles idk what I'd do on
Gaia sweatdrop

Yeah, they want to give their money to people who they think are superb. The
competition gets really scary sweatdrop

Heh, I hope I can, though it would depend how often I can log on during the
quarter. I tend to get bogged down in the middle. It would also depend on which
language you're learning. I've only learned C++ in programming sweatdrop

Whoah, Malaysia! I didn't know Gaia was used at all outside the US and Europe. Oh, and
maybe Japan. Neat!

That sounds like a good plan. I know there are some companies here that pay tuition for
you to get your master's degree if you work for them at the same time, I think.

Eh, I suppose getting a master's degree would be beneficial, but seeing how hot computer
science is right now, it might not be necessary. Plus, I have yet to decided which branch of
computer science I'd like to study, possibly software or cryptology. Plus school is making me
not want to actually do any more learning.

Holy wow, what country is that, if I may ask? :O I wouldn't get a scholarship in your
country even if I went to school there because getting all A's is impossible for me now sweatdrop
But I hope you get one! I did get a few grants, but I go to a private school, so it's quite
expensive regardless.

Technically, the engineering bachelor's degree takes four years to complete if you stay
strictly on schedule, but most people stay longer to get their master's at the graduate school.
It's computer science that is a little more lenient; that's why my switching was not too bad.
Our school has them in different departments, though, even though they're quite similar.
I go to Santa Clara University smile . We're well known for our engineering department.

Full scholarship? Sorry to burst your bubble, but full scholarships are hard to come by
nowadays, or at least in the US. Of course, I know that some universities out of state
offer them to you if you don't mind the transportation and boarding expenses and stuff.

I'm a sophomore right now, so I plan to finish my degree in two more years. I changed
my major last month, though, and I only took an introductory computer science class
last quarter, so I'm a little behind, but counselors have told me I still have plenty of
time. Probably not big lot of time, but enough to finish if I stick it out. If I were to become
an engineer, though, it definitely would have taken at least three more years because
of how tightly packed engineers' schedules are at my school sweatdrop

I'm currently heading for a bachelor's degree. True there is math, and a lot of it, but
that's that sweatdrop . I survived calculus, and I'm honestly not the best at math,
but coding is a lot of fun smile . Of course there are times when you want to tear
your hair out, but I think other majors in the same department (math, science) feel
the same at one point or another.

Saw your status for a while, but I thought I should reply now: computer science!

I am actually majoring in it, so of course I'm biased, but it's cool nonetheless smile
