I am me.
MeI'm me and that's all there is to it.
It doesn't matter whether I'm a girl or a boy.
I'm here to be whatever I want.
Whoever I want.
I come here to roleplay.
Not to fall in love.
Not to make you like me.
So, as far as my gender is concerned, just don't worry about it.
Call me Kai.
Nostalgia
Gaia these days, though I love it with all my heart, just isn't the same as it was when I first joined up.
I remember like it was yesterday. Haha. I was on Neopets, roleplaying away. Having a ball.
When one of my guild-mates started talking about this site.
"It's way better to roleplay there."
I was reluctant, at first, but he talked me and my best friend into joining.
I was in the 6th grade.
And now I'm about to graduate.
Life, it seems, just flies on by.
Gaia's been changing.
The people have been changing.
Hell, I've been changing.
I looked at my first account the other day.
"Believers_Are_Dreamers" is the name of it.
I sound like such an idiot in the "About me" section.
Haha.
I'm sure, in 6 more years, I'll read this and think the very same thing.
This is probably my 6 mule, though she became my main so quickly.
Just fell in love with her.
Ghosty, you are the me I wish I could be.
:3

Oh... yeah!^^ So... ^^ I still think MadMax is the one and only steampunk. Yay!^^ I don't really like the story of the films, but the stile is just what brought me first into contact with steam and punk - and so of course, when I think of steampunk, I think about wipers on your back, crazy hairdues and a lot of trash, connected with halfly damaged machines. ^_____^ But of course there is this "finer" way of steampunk aswell... and that's good, too. ^^
hah! Okay. I'll get mysef some Wells books now, because you made me curious. ^____^ In fact my father is a big Wells fan aswell... he was sooo angry, when I made fun about the film of "War of the Worlds" ^^
Well... whatever. ^____^
Well... whatever. First I'll answer to your "talking to a wall"-thing, because I don't actually know if I can manage to answer the other message today. (I haven't actually the time to read it completely by now) ^____^
When I read "talking to you is like talking to a wall"... the only thing I did was shrugging my shoulders and saying to myself: "Many people said that to me in the last view weeks."
So maybe you are right, without wanting it. wink
I laughed when I read the second message, where you wrote that this wasn't even supposed to me. wink
... Well self-reflection comes without warning.
I only gave back your own words just as you said them to me.
So if you say I am mean, you only tell me that you are, too. wink
And in fact you were the one using the word "a*****e", so I wonder who is more impolite.
But just to clear the air, I say sorry if you felt insulted by my words (because I really don't wanted to make you sad) and I really hope you'll do so aswell, because you were not even better.
But now back to the real interesting point...
Steampunk:
I never said Mad Max was the FIRST SteampunkFilm.
I said it was ONE OF THE FIRST, which mainly influenced the scene, because it's still that popular (and even known by persons who are not involved in that scene.)
I did not even know Mad Max was that early ..... the only thing you were telling me in your long story about steampunk history is, that Mad Max REALLY was the first (released) steampunk film.
And this words just make my point stronger.
- Mad Max is and was a big step forwart for steampunk. It was one of the first steampunk-films and it still belongs to that scene.
If you try telling me Mad Max is not steampunk at all, you really should give reasons, because I am still of another opinion.
And... well, this is another point but:... H.G.Wells... he is the "father of SCIENCE FICTION" ... not the father of steampunk.
I only know him by books like "War of the World"... that's not steampunk.
So calling H.G.Wells "father of Steampunk" is just like saying "greek legends are the reason for Harry Potter"...
In fact, H.G. Well gave the FUNDAMENT, because he invented SciFi, but the real important thing is, what the different authors made of it.
I say this, because I don't know any REAL steampunk book written by Wells. So if you can show me one I will maybe change my opinion in this new case. I am not a specialist for H.G.Wells to be true, but always interested.

« Probably the bad boy. xD Seeing as how Keno is really, really shy and doesn't talk. He'd have to be a little intimidated to talk. »
