Truth be told if you knew what you were purchasing and didn't go for something overpriced pos. Like from a major retailer like Walmart or from even Alien ware. Then a $1000 pc would be able to get you to play max settings on every game for the next 10 years easy. On eof the things I hate about laptops is not only are they so pricey, but when they fail repairing em is a pain. I wish you luck on whatever gaming device you get though. Also in d3's defense it can have 100s of monsters on the screen at once all being affected by multiple aoe attacks. That said though they could've upped the ante for the really good pc users. They just slacking.

Some people are. Namely just a few graphics whores who want everything photo realistic and are too dumb to notice how different styles of graphics can be beneficial to a medium. That and if you had 300 monsters on the screen at once with aoe spam a photo realistic approach would be complete and total rape on quite a few pcs.

Don' have a dark halo. Also it's very common when buying computers or laptops to have a low stock graphics card. You just have to buy an upgraded graphics card. Or that would be the case except laptops aren't really designed to be upgraded in such a manner. It can be done it's just a serious pain in the bottom. Many people are razzing on blizzard for having such low standards as is for the graphics because they tend to make their games accessible to most pcs.

I'm still playing games. Haven't actually bothered with Skyrim though. I recently got done with another stint in Monster Hunter Tri. That series is too good. I haven't decided what I'm going to do next and have been randomly going through visual novels. I am also laughing at the problems Diablo 3 is suffering from currently. I'd like to say it's karma for all the bad things Blizzard did to their product, but I know sloppiness is involved too.
