WE Surround Them

http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/198/21018/

Share this page with your friends and family... Do you watch the direction that America is being taken in and feel powerless to stop it?

Do you believe that your voice isn’t loud enough to be heard above the noise anymore?

Do you read the headlines everyday and feel an empty pit in your stomach…as if you’re completely alone?

If so, then you’ve fallen for the Wizard of Oz lie. While the voices you hear in the distance may sound intimidating, as if they surround us from all sides—the reality is very different. Once you pull the curtain away you realize that there are only a few people pressing the buttons, and their voices are weak. The truth is that they don’t surround us at all.

We surround them.

So, how do we show America what’s really behind the curtain? Below are nine simple principles. If you believe in at least seven of them, then we have something in common. I urge you to read the instructions at the end for how to help make your voice heard.

The Nine Principles

1. America is good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

You Are Not Alone

If you agree with at least seven of those principles, then you are not alone. Please send a digital version of your picture to: wesurroundthem@foxnews.com and then stay tuned to the radio and television shows over the coming weeks to see how we intend to pull back the curtain.

For starter to let you know I am an Independent.

I myself not felling comfortable voting for Obama or McCain. I really was hopping Huckabee would come back. Since I dont see that happing I try to see who lesser of the two evil. While researching both of them I find out Bob Barr (join the Libertarian Party) was putting his hat in. I feel he have the people best interest in mine. Let's Say I Break Into Your House

A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials in ages!!! It explains things better than all: the baloney you hear on TV.

Her point:

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration. Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand

the thinking behind these protests.

Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, 'No! I like it here. It's better than my house. I've made all

the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters:

You are Required to let me stay in your house

You are Required to feed me

You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan

You are Required to Educate my kids

You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family

(my husband will do all of your yard work because

he is also hard-working and honest, except for that

breaking in part).

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your

house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house And what a deal it is for me!!!

I live in your house, contributing only afraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so you can communicate with me. Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! Only in America. If you agree, pass it on (in English ). Share it if you see the value of it.

If not blow it off......... along with your future Social Security funds, and a lot of other things.

This morning Newt Gingrich was on Fox and Friends promoting :

As gas prices continue to increase, Congress continues to blame others

while ignoring practical steps to stop the pain Americans are feeling

at the pump. To reduce our dependence on foreign oil, we need real

solutions to our energy challenges.

Sign the Petition

We, therefore, the undersigned citizens of the United States, petition

the U.S. Congress to act immediately to lower gasoline prices by

authorizing the exploration of proven energy reserves to reduce our

dependence on foreign energy sources from unstable countries.
