(A/N: YESH~ PART THREEEEE
with zephzeph this time. I haven't written in Zephyr's perspective in ever, so nyeh.)
"This way!"
There was really no point for someone like Zephyr to be dragged along hand-in-hand by a nine year old. True, his color deficiency throws him off in many different situations, but this moment was simply patronizing in his case. He, of course, did nothing to release her somewhat tight hold, because he knew the outcome of what would happen if he did.
Whining, whining, and more whining, as if there wasn't enough already.
He rolled his eyes as his witch veered to a harsh left in the hallowed halls of Churkae. It was a pretty dark kingdom, but it only turned out to be a dusk speck compared to the large and brightness of Krayn.
Krayn. His eyes glazed over at the sound of it. In Krayn, there wasn't any numerous lords or masters you had to listen to. Just 5 elders, and of course your witch. But that wasn't what hooked the young auralis into doing anything there. What got him was the fact that Veera resided there, and if he didn't know her any better, she still didn't forgive him for utterly betraying her, and all the other members of the Superior Inferiority.
Silently, he heaved and shook his tousled blonde hair. Krayn was long gone of his reach now, as Crem was already disappointed of lacking of information.
"Of course all of this is because of The Wind."
"The Wind...he has no home...."
"No side to abide to...."
"There's no reason why The Wind himself should live..."
Quiet, all of you! Zephyr's flinch tripped the youth in front of him, making him stumble on top of her as well.
"Zephie! You're squishing me!" Etrelle whined from underneath. Her hand still never left his wrist.
Zephyr stood up and brushed some dirt off with his free hand before pulling the prematured witch upward. He gave a look of apology by staring deep into her eyes, then hastily stared away.
Whatever Etrelle's irses may be, they had to be some shade of blue, because that was the only colorless thing that stood out from Zephyr's vision. It wasn't his fault he had to be born with the inability to speak as well as colorblindness, but after a failed eye experiment of trying to cleanse it, all he saw was blue. Literally. And if he locked on with something that was originally blue, then it only turns out to be a colorless gray instead.
And no color basically meant no meaning, in Zephyr's case, and no meaning basically means fear. (A/N: In other words, Zeph is afraid of things that shouldn't be living. Such as monochromatic things. And, to explain in math terms, if x=colorless, then x+originally scared to death person=no meaning=fear.)
"Awwie! Don't be sad, Zephie! It was only a little fall." Etrelle tugged on his wrist in the direction she was walking in, a small warning before being dragged off again.
. . .
His room always had a homey feel. Sure, the wallpaper was torn in nearly every place, but the duct tup put to cover it seemed pretty artistic to Zephyr. Or at least in the since he only caught a shimmery sky blue color coming off of it.
